The Tumour Board

The Tumour Board is a unique formation. It is made up of specialists from various medical disciplines, and thus fosters a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of cancer.

Better care for cancer patients

The presence of many different medical specialties at the Clinique des Grangettes has given rise to a multidisciplinary approach to combatting cancer. The Tumour Board is composed of oncologists, radio-oncologists, radiologists, specialists in nuclear medicine, urologists, surgeons and pathologists. They all meet once a week to discuss individual cases that might need a more multidisciplinary approach. They follow up their meeting with a report on the care deemed most appropriate for the patient. This decision-making process by a group of specialists from various disciplines ensures that subsequent care is fully personalised.
